A RETURN TO CREATIVITY

Following a long period of health problems, I have been able to finish a novel I started a couple years ago. SAVING PORTERVILLE was published in late December and is now on Amazon, etc. in paperback as well as Kindle and has already received five-stars. This book is a sequel to DECENT DECEIT but stands alone as a literary novel.

SAVING PORTERVILLE is a timely novel, in that it deals with the Fentanyl crisis in a small midwestern town. It is also a middle age love story that you won’t soon forget. I introduced a new character, a delightful female former homeland security agent who helps the town rid itself of dangerous drug cartels. and risked her life to do so.

I survived my illness by writing about love of home, community and country, art, food, forgiveness of oneself and a bit of humor; all things to make us smile in a sad, fast-changing world. Thich Hanh said we must love in such a way that the person you love feels free. I hope SAVING PORTRVILLE will help all of us return to love, faith, friendship and courage, wherever we live.
